2024-28 CDBG Con Plan, PY24 Annual Action Plan, and PY23 Annual Action Plan Amendment Public Hearings
Notice the draft 2024-2028 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan, the 2024 CDBG Annual Action Plan, and an Amendment to the 2023 CDBG Annual Action Plan public hearings. The City of Dunkirk is a Grantee of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a CDBG Grantee, the City annually funds housing and community development programs and projects for the community, which are primarily intended to benefit low- and moderate-income residents.
A draft of the 2024-2028 Community Development Block Grant Consolidated Plan, the 2024 CDBG Annual Action Plan, and an Amendment to the 2023 CDBG Annual Action Plan will be available for public comment beginning on May 11, 2024. The 30-day public comment period will close at end of day on June 11, 2024. Drafts of the 2024-28 CDBG Con Plan, PY24 CDBG AAP and the Amendment to the PY23 CDBG AAP will be available at The City Hall Clerk’s Office, 342 Central Ave., Dunkirk NY 14048. Drafts of the plans will also be available at the City of Dunkirk’s Development Department located in the Stearns Building, 342 City Hall, Dunkirk, NY 14048. Drafts will also be available on the CDBG page of the City of Dunkirk’s website at: https://www.cityofdunkirk.com/government/departments/planning_and_development/cdbg.php
The first public hearing will be held on May 21st, 2024 at 5PM at the Fredonia Incubator, 214 Central Ave, Dunkirk, NY 14048 and a second public hearing will be held on May 29th, 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Mayor’s Conference Room within City Hall, Second Floor, 342 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY 14048.
